I dont agree with your explanation of the product business model. Affiliate links have nothing to do in this model as the whole attention is centered towards selling the product and capturing the attention of the visitor so that one can make big conversions. Overall, it was a good attempt to educate those who dont know about this basic info.
Adnan, thanks for writing and giving your feedback. I get your point and I realize how some one would perceive that from the diagram of the Product business model. So to make it clearer for every one here is my explanation:
The Product model diagram shows the ‘Place Affiliate Offer Links’ box similar to the Affiliate model diagram.
There may be a confusion that affiliate links are placed in the Product model too.
If you follow along my explanation, you will see that I am describing a process of moving from Affiliate to Product model.
I am suggesting, that you should first check out the market using the Affiliate model, and then conduct surveys and research the current list to find ideas for a better product, and only then move to the Product model.
I hope this solves this confusion. Thanks to Adnan Khan for pointing it out.

how to join adsense? if there any other way other than adsense? if adsense charges by clicks. what is the possibility that those clicks will surely convert and will give me some earning ?

Assalam-o-Alaikum Allamdar, There are many companies providing affiliate program. All you need to do is search for “your keyword + affiliate” in google and you will see related companies offering affiliate programs. Also you can look at http://www.clickbank.com which now offers payment in Pakistan too.
Adsense is Google’s program and you can join at http://www.google.com/adsense. You will have a report that shows you exactly how many times ad was shown and how many clicks occured. Google pays in Pakistan via Western Union and is 100% reliable. Some cases have happened where clicks were not paid for by Google but it is only because of click fraud.

I have watched all of your tutorial videos.I just wanted to ask you about some confusion in my mind, that do I have to make a registered domain for adsense before 6 months of registering it for adsense. Please answer can I use adsense with a free blog. And please tell some practical examples of doing because many of the people are not expert in this regard. Hi Arslan,
You can definitely use Google Adsense with free blogs like you can get at http://www.blogger.com. I would suggest that you first set up the blog, post at least 8-10 times before applying for Google Adsense program. This will help in approval as Google will be able to see that you have relevant, unique content. Good Luck.

Thanks for replying to my comment. Now this is clear to me but dont you think that its almost impossible for most of the pakistanis to sell their products online? I’m saying so because most of the online transactions are made through paypal and paypal doesn’t support pakistan. If we go for other online payment options then the opportunities available to us automatically shrink and we’re left with very few options.
I have one more question. Suppose I have launched an e-book of mine and i have made a website for this purpose. How should i bring traffic to my squeeze page? Should i go after PPC? What if i dont have enough reserve budget and can’t launch a PPC campaign? Will i still be able to get a huge amount of traffic? I dont want to talk about SEO and stuff coz that will take a lot of time maybe an year or two to rank well in the search engines.

one of the best digital markets is http://www.clickbank.com which has recently started paying in Pakistan. So for most part in information products this problem is solved. SEO vs PPC is a business choice. Most people start launching products with very little reserve. It is a good idea to re-invest in PPC after you have gotten some sales. This is why keyword research is so important. It will help you get a little bit of traffic. You can target your product to some micro niche keywords before moving on towards niche keywords. I often advise to target micro niche and engage in affiliate marketing. This should give you some traffic, and over time you can build your own list and market your niche product to this market via email rather than PPC. This is really why every guru will say that retaining a list is the most important part.
Also do not forget the free line. The free piece of value that you will give out through your squeeze page can be distributed through every possible channel. That will also help to get that initial traffic that you need.
In the end, I think that effort on SEO never goes to waste as long as it is done right.
Thanks for your reply again. I know that every internet marketing guru emphasizes on building a list. And i know that ‘power is in the list’.But there are some gurus like Amish Shah and his partners who don’t even bother to build their list. They totally depend upon the PPC and their records show profit of 100 thousand dollars on some specific days spending only 2 to 3 thousand dollars on PPC campaign. I was asking you about methods other than PPC and SEO because the information products like E-books or CDs are relevant to some specific niche for a very short period of time. Once that time is over, your product is of no use to anyone. Moreover, PPC is something that can be learned practically. It means you actually have to risk some of your money (i must say most of the pakistanis are still not in the position to do so) to learn about PPC. Another important thing is “Google Slaps”. I think you would have heard about the three major google slaps during which the top internet marketers were loosing 2 to 3000 dollars per day getting nothing. We dont know when is the next google slap going to occur so its a big risk investing in PPC.
Regarding the clickbank, I still remember having an account last year on clickbank and at that time they were offering payment to Pakistanis via check. I dont know if any alternative payment method is included there as it has been a long time since i have checked my clickbank account. I must say that go after clickbank if you’ve a targeted as well as ‘rich’ traffic (people from US and Europe). Otherwise, working as an affiliate of click bank is useless.
One more thing about which i’m curious is ‘bulk email marketing’. Have you ever tried it? I have heard most of the people like Cody Moya and others who say that this marketing technique is very effective as long as you sustain quality in your campaign? I’ve got a list of 136 thousands email addresses and I’m ready to launch my campaign but still confused whether it will be effective or not? I would really appreciate if you share some of your experiences regarding bulk email marketing with me and tell me what tools did u use for this purpose?

There are so many threads in your comment, forgive me if I forget to respond to some.
The power is still in the list. If you are receiving email from Amish Shah than you are on his list, just as I am. He is still maintaining lists to sell to us. PPC or PPA is a great way to earn money online. But it requires a lot of patience. Do you know the amount of research it takes. They even have developed a software called HexaTrack which analyzes Adwords over 15-30 days for given keywords and tells us which exact ads have been running the longest etc. If you want to create a business, what you need to do is become an authority. You need to start with an ebook and than move on to bigger products in the same list. The goal is to have a recurring model like a membership site OR have a model that allows you to re-launch every couple of months.
I do not recommend starting niche marketing businesses that target any other market than US and some parts of Europe. This is where the money is for now. There are only two kinds of method, natural search and paid advertisement. There might be different models within these two but there is no other method. Now I do not believe that niche markets hold true for a little period. It is how you research your market and grow your products. I always encourage people to interact with their list, create a community and start a recurring model. You will see there is room for growth from any niche market. Short term goals do not really work in this market. If you want short term success, than target a long tail market to start with.
Google Slap should not be a problem if you become part of the Google system. If you are going to play against the system then you are open to be slapped. It is no longer enough to have a squeeze page for example. Now you have to have good number of pages along with your squeeze page because it effects your quality score. I have no experience with bulk marketing and I do not intend to work in this field any ways. To me, it is illogical to just send bulk emails without targeting markets. Enough said on that. I use Aweber.com to send bulk emails to my targeted list.

If not what should be the payment method? or will it be a complete failure?
You can definitely market in Pakistan. Every market has it’s own limitations and payment is currently like that. You can charge via bank draft or direct online deposit. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Many friends following this course have given me feedback that every where they have looked, they found that there was some sort of fraud like click fraud etc. So, I guess the secret is to provide true value. Once you do that, you should be able to create a market for your product. Good luck with that.
thanx for your reply again. You might know that many people have been scammed by collecting payments as a bankdraft and things like that. I still remember a site which started this sort of stuff in pakistan and many people paid them but finally it proved to be a big scam. I dont think people will believe anyone now as they’ve a bitter experience in the past.
